May 19th, 2008. What will you be doing that Monday? I suspect I will be at work and "D" too. And "A" will be in school and probably have a soccer game later in the day. But in Kiev, Ukraine our Dossier will be presented to a worker in the SDA. We will be one of 10 Dossiers presented that day. This will mark the end of our logical and predictable journey (paperwork with defined and well documented rules and instructions). And simultaneously mark the beginning of our faith journey. From this moment on, we will have no choice but to close our eyes and blindly follow.
For those of you that know me well, you know that this will be the most difficult part of the journey for me. The mathematician in me wants to know the "answer" and strives to find the pattern and to feel in control. And there is simply no guaranteed "answer" to be found in the Ukrainian adoption process.
Thank God for "D". Steady, calm, strong and patient. My rock. We have always known that I am more well suited for the first part of this journey and he is definitely the best to lead us to the end. I will always be grateful to him for carrying me through.
We are a family of three that is growing in size to a family of four by adopting our son from Ukraine. We are thrilled you have visited and we hope you enjoy this journey as much as we are.

Congratulations for getting on the list! We mailed our dossier over in January and were watching for the May list too. It is encouraging to see things moving ahead for you guys. The SDA has been going so slow lately. Could you email us? dgwolff@hughes.net
