Saturday Morning Visit

Today it was raining during our first visit so we were allowed in the playroom. "G"s group of 10 little ones has 4 main rooms that they "occupy". There is foyer type room where all their lockers are lined up. And there is a console table and a place to hang art work and a toddle sized mirror for the kids to check themselves out before heading outside.
Then there is a multipurpose room where they each have their own chair. There are four little tables and this is where we have seen them eat their meals, watch TV, have music class and do other group activities. There is also a little kitchen area and a bathroom off of this room.
Then to the left of the foyer is a playroom. Complete with an indoor swingset. (We have yet to see his sleeping area but we hope to be able to get a peak before leaving :-)
"G" showed us several toys and how they worked - a talking stuffed animal, a windup dinasour, some blocks and a tricycle. When he was done impressing us with his toy manipulation skills, he pulled out his favorite toy!!!!! You guessed it --- those are pinecones in his hand in the first picture. All these toys and our little boyscout wants to play with the pinecones. The trike was a close second so we are going to have to make sure to have plenty of wheels for him when he comes home.
4 MORE DAYS till court :-)
